Being a socially committed service sector company Phoenix Career Solutions Ltd has taken up certain social initiatives in India which no other organization in India is able to take up due to technical limitations. Most of the international recruitment organizations exist only to cater to the need of the socially and economically eligible people in finding employment or higher education opportunities for them in foreign countries. Meanwhile Phoenix Career Solutions try its best to find such opportunities for people from all walks of life irrespective of their socio-economic background. In this endeavour Phoenix is always on the look out for tie ups with such educational institutions and manpower recruiters in the countries like United Kingdom, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, who do not charge the candidates for their services before reaching their destination. In addition, we try to make arrangements for such candidates to pay their tuition fees or service charges only after starting their courses or employment, and that too in monthly installments through the period of their study/ employment, making their financial capacity a less significant criterion for securing international opportunities.
Moreover Phoenix has strong tie ups with nationalised and scheduled banking organizations in India for arranging loan facility to the candidates for paying their fees in installments. Many socially and economically backward people in India have directly or indirectly benefited from these social initiatives of Phoenix.
Health and Social Care Sector Employment cum Higher Studies Initiative of Phoenix
MARY MATHA MODEL
Mary Matha College of Medical Sciences is a highly reputed and socially committed paramedical institution located at Kuravilangad, a village situated on the MC Road between Kottayam and Angamaly. This decades old prestigeous educational institution is successfully run under the patronage of Mr. G. Surendranath and Mrs Prasanna Kumari, farsighted veteran educationists who are also the Managing Trustees of Chaithanya Charitable Trust [a charity] and Hospital situated in Kuravilangad. The college is reputed for its initiatives in the field of Vocational Nursing Education with special focus on educating the students from the socially and economically backward communities. The institution has taught more than 6000 students so far in Practical Nursing, First Aid and Nursing Care, Auxiliary Nursing, and other Nursing related disciplines. 100% of the college's alumni are employed throughout the country in the Health Care Sector.
Phoenix - Mary Matha Tie-up
In 2008 February Phoenix Career Solutions Ltd started a joint initiative with Mary Matha College of Medical Sciences, Kuravilangad, to promote Health and Social Care higher studies in the United Kingdom for the aspiring graduates of Mary Matha College. The main focus of this higly successful venture was to bring colourful opportunities to the socially and economically backward students for higher studies in UK. The unique combination of interests of these two organizations has resulted in the sending of 40 Mary Mtha students to UK for persuing studies in Health and Social Care called NVQ2 and NVQ3. These students had hardly spent any money on this international project before they flew to UK. They can pay tuition fees from their earnings in UK in monthly installments. Moreover most of these students send home Rs.30000 to 50000/- per month from their earnings from the work they do in UK as part of their studies. The students can save money from this project without taking illegal employment. The Sandwich Courses they undertake in UK are work based and they work as Care Assistants15 to 20 hours per week as part of their studies and another 20 hours per week as student entitlement.
Moreover these students on completion of studies stand a better chance to get good employment in countries like UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc. They get a wonderful opportunity to network with people from various countries and their communication skills in English would be superb which itself would fetch them great employment opportunities in English Speaking countries.
