Retail Baking-Food Processing (Certificate I and III)

This course will provide you with the skills necessary to work in the baking industry as a producer of a variety of breads, cakes, pastries and yeast goods. You will learn to decorate an extensive range of cakes and other baked products. These skills will enable you to work as a qualified baker in a large scale plant bakery, hot bread shop, pastry shop, or in a hotel or hospital bakery.

This programme provides a practical training in the area of baking and for this they will place the student in a local Bakery.
The entry requirement for a student is a pass in Class X in order to apply for this course or else commence with a Certificate I.
